An anonymized rhyme about an noteworthless place I’ve visited.
The poem I wrote on Friday wasn’t worth sharing, and then last night my family suggested I’d never write a poem about a particular location because I found it so noteworthless. Which inspired me. Giving the location the benefit of the doubt, I’ve anonymized the poem. I actually think it reads better this way.
I’ve been to that location in the spring-time.
The air was mild; I’ve little else to say.
There’s yet two lines to fill to make this poem rhyme
No content, but I’ll fill them anyway.
