I’m glad God is mature enough to handle His power.

Untitled Poem

If you all facts could instant see,
      Would you?
  To sense the truth and know what’s rot
  Would solve most problems that I’ve got
And yet I might not choose to be
        A seer…
I fear that knowing everything
(Though many pleasures it might bring)
  Might make a world where living’s not
      As true.

If you could change the world at once
      Would you?
  To edit truth’s a potent thing
  And ample simply joys can bring;
Yet, though I don’t think I’m a dunce
        I fear…
I fear an edit to a fact
(Though filling what my life once lacked)
  Might make a world where poems don’t ring
      As true.
