    Hi

Here are the results for a Compaq Evo N600c laptop. It's equipped with a
Mobile PIII running at 866 MHz with 133 MHz SDRAM. The OS is W2000.

Results are included for the NT binary you provide as well for gcc, the
    results are very close.

With: gcc version 2.95.3-5 (cygwin special)
    -------------------------------------------------------------
This system uses 8 bytes per DOUBLE PRECISION word.
    -------------------------------------------------------------
    Array size = 8000000, Offset = 0
Total memory required = 183.1 MB.
Each test is run 10 times, but only
the *best* time for each is used.
    -------------------------------------------------------------
Your clock granularity/precision appears to be 10000 microseconds.
Each test below will take on the order of 299999 microseconds.
       (= 29 clock ticks)
Increase the size of the arrays if this shows that
you are not getting at least 20 clock ticks per test.
    -------------------------------------------------------------
WARNING -- The above is only a rough guideline.
For best results, please be sure you know the
    precision of your system timer.
    -------------------------------------------------------------
