Course Content

CS 4630 Defense Against the Dark Arts is a course about computer security, with a particular focus on malware, exploits, and mitigations for malware and exploits.

You may wish to look at the schedule.

Lecture

Lectures will be held in person in Olsson 120, MWF at 1pm.

Prerequisites

• Introduction to Cybersecurity (CS 3710)

  I may waive this prerequisite on a case-by-case basis if you have reason to believe you learned the relevant material elsewhere.

• Some knowledge of C and x86-64 assembly, like you’d get from CSO1
