We travelled Bloemfontein, about a five hour drive on a mostly
well-developed highway, with a group of three Englishmen we met at the
B&B where we were staying in Johannesburg.

After what should have been England's second goal was deined, there was
about 10 seconds of uncertainty in the stadium as everyone wondered how
such an obvious goal could have been denied,after that everyone had
received texts from people watching back hom to know a good goal was
denied. England went on to suffer an embarrassing collapse, but the
English fans handled it pretty well (much better than their players did).
