In the real world, sometimes a great set-up isn’t followed by an action scene.
A brave man stood with sword unsheathed,
A blade the king himself bequeathed
Upon a waif in whom he saw
That gleaming eye and well-set jaw
That said to him, “here sits a lad
Who simply can’t abide what’s bad.”
Before this lad-grown-man there stood
A man whom all men understood
Had not a good thought in his head
And thus who most men wished were dead.
The evil man has not a blade;
This fact the good man’s sword has stayed.
