A “‍here be dragons‍” on a map
  gives purpose without cause.
It says “‍go here and you’re a sap‍”,
  the reason: fiction-claws.
“‍X marks the spot‍”, the dragon’s pair:
  objective sans reward.
These two give maps a purpose where
  description would be hard.

“‍Desirable to make one happy‍”
is a prophet’s phrase
And, like most prophets’ words, it’s mappy,
  an X in many ways.
But it says more than any X;
  mere gold may leave one sad.
When God’s the one who writes the checks
  they’re sure to make you glad.
