CodeLab ('C') homeworks
Due to scheduling issues, there will not be a HW C3. Homework C2: Due Tuesday,
24 October by 2 p.m.
- All of the CodeLab questions from chapter 5 (18 of them)
- All of the CodeLab questions from chapter 6 (12 of them)
Homework C1: Due Tuesday,
26 September by 10 a.m.
- First, find your access code, which we are providing for free.
- On the
submit page, fill out your name, password, and select "CodeLab
Registration" as the assignment.
- Then select "List". Your CodeLab license key is in the listed
program
- The key is of the form "m00-00g-0000-c000", where the 0's can be any
digit.
- Create a CodeLab account at
www.turingscraft.com
- You can use any e-mail address that you want
- If you are in CS101 use VIRGIN-4241-2241 as your section access code
- If you are in CS101-E use VIRGIN-8028-2242 as your section access code
- The CodeLab assignment C1
is due Monday, 25 September by 10:00 a.m.
- You will need to enter your license code (above) to get full access (it
will only allow you to do 10 questions otherwise).
- You will need to set your ID (via the "preferences" tab) to UVa e-mail
ID (i.e. mst3k). If you do not do this, you will not get credit for
the CodeLab homeworks that you have completed
- Complete the assigned exercises on Java Basics (chapter 2) and Using
Objects (chapter 3).
- You are allowed to submit multiple times, so we expect
everybody to successfully all of the assigned exercises.
- There are a total of 47 problems for chapter 2: 20503-20515, 20519, 20522-20525,
20527-20540, 20542-20548, 20572, and 20591-20597
- There are a total of 7 problems for chapter 3: 20578-20581, 20583-20584,
20589
