December 2024: Congratulations to my student, Ishita Gupta, for successfully defending her master’s thesis on “Integrating Geometric Understanding in Generative Diffusion Models With Text Instructions”!

October 2024: My two PhD students, Nian Wu and Jerry Xing, presented their work at MICCAI 2024, a premier conference in medical imaging, marking its first-ever hosting on the African continent. What a fantastic experience in Marrakesh Morocco!!!

October 2024: Excited to serve as a panelist in “WOMEN IN STEM” at the UVA 2024 Computer Science Research Symposium!

September 2024: Congratulations to my Ph.D. student Nivetha Jayakumar, who won the 1st place at UVA ECE Poster Contest with her research on “DIGIT- Diffeomorphic Image Generation with Instructions from Text”!

June 2024: Congratulations to my Ph.D. student Nivetha Jayakumar, who received iPRIME Fellowship!

December 2023: Congratulations to our research, led by Ph.D. student Nivetha Jayakumar, winning Best Thematic Paper Award at ML4H 2023!

August 2022: My 8-month old and I participated our first infant-mother regulation study in the Developmental Neuroanalytics Lab in the UVA Department of Neurology!
