UVA email accounts (@virginia.edu addresses) are managed by ITS. Support and information can be found on the ITS web site

For many years the Computer Science department maintained its own email server and mailing list software, but this server has been retired. Email aliases using the “cs.virginia.edu” domain are now resident on the ITS/Office365 email servers. Our mail server (IMAP/SMTP) is still running only to allow access to archived email.
